GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (KK Tours) hereafter referred to as 'The Company'. Tours are sold subject to the following conditions: 1. The contract made between the Company and the client shall be deemed to have been made at the registered office of the company at Lot 32-1, Block F, 2. Although every effort will be made to operate the tours as advertised, circumstances beyond our control may necessitate changes in itineraries and costs, of which you will be informed immediately. The Company cannot be held responsible for any such changes and reserves the right to change/increase the price of any travel arrangements up to the date of departure. This includes adjustments for weather, technical, or logistical considerations as well as for international exchange rates and other costs surcharges. 3. BOOKING Enquiries or reservations for tour services shown must be made through the Company's registered office. The fullest possible information is required in order to handle your reservations efficiently. Please advise exact: - (i) Arrival/departure dates and flight details. (ii) Names of clients in full with gender (Mr or Mrs/Ms etc.) and age. (iii) Rooming list with number/type of rooms and meals required. (iv) Guide requirements. 4. CONFIRMATION All reservations requested must be confirmed by telefax or emails. On confirmation of tour, a deposit of 10% of Tour Price per person must be paid. 5. PAYMENT Full payment must be received 30 days prior to your clients' arrival. Failure to comply with this condition may result in the cancellations of all reservations without prior notice. If required, proforma invoices can be sent together with confirmation. Payment can be made via telegraphic transfers to our banker: Name of Bank : Malayan Banking Berhad, Karamunsing, Account Name: KK Tours & Travel (S) Sdn. Bhd. Account Number: 510143031514 SWIFT Code: MBBEMYKL Kindly advise us by fax of your remittance date, your Bank and its corresponding Bank in Late booking not later than 10 days prior to departure date will be accepted subject to availability of accommodation and domestic flights seats and at the absolute discretion of the Company. 6. AMENDMENTS/CANCELLATIONS All amendments /cancellations must be received and acknowledged in writing. 7. CANCELLATION Hotels, carriers, restaurants, contractors or any other companies related to the services required, will charge cancellation fees depending on the circumstances. If any such charges are levied by them, these charges will be billed to you through KK Tours. If it is necessary to cancel your bookings, our cancellations charges are:- Between 60 to 31 days before departure 10% of total price Between 30 to 15 days before departure 30% of total price Between 14 to 07 days before departure 40% of total price 06 days or less before departure 50% of total price Passengers ?No Show' 100% of total price No refunds are available for cancellations made after a tour has commenced nor in respect of any tour,accommodation or any other service not utilized. 8. VOUCHERS Kindly issue one voucher for all arrangements required to KK Tours & Travel (S) Sdn. Bhd. A copy of your itinerary should be enclosed with your voucher and these items must be received by the Company at least 07 days prior to the arrival of your clients. Should your voucher stipulate services other than those originally requested for, we will provide services as per voucher instructions and invoice you accordingly. 9. INFANTS AND DISABLED Children under 02 years of age and handicapped passengers are welcome provided the are accompanied and do not require special assistance. 10. CHILD FARE (03 YEARS TO 12 YEARS) For day tours and airport transfers Child Fare is 50% off adult rate. For packages which includes meals accommodation, child fare is based on child sharing a twin room with 02 adults without an extra bed and the reduction is 25% off adult rate. If child occupies a single room or twin share a room with an adult, the full adult rate will be applied.No children car seat will be provided. Passengers are advised to bring their own children car seat or to inform the Company fourteen (14) days in advance. 11. TRANSFERS Unless otherwise indicated, transfer rates includes:- a) Meet and greet services b) Assistance with arrival/departure procedures at airport and hotels. c) Porterage of 01 piece of luggage of reasonable size (03 feet by 02 feet) and 01 piece of hand luggage. d) Transportation by air-conditioned cars/vans/coaches unless otherwise indicated. e) Sea transport between the Mainland and 12. TOUR PRICE includes: a) Hotel accommodation or hostel as specified. b) Breakfast and other meals as specified. c) Transportation by air-conditioned coach/van/or as specified, driven by an experienced driver/guide. d) Being fully escorted by a qualified and professional tour guide. e) Airport transfers to/from hotel, river boat transfers and island transfers as specified. f) For 13. TOUR PRICE does not include: a) Items of a personal nature, viz. laundry, telephone calls, beverages, room services, mini-bar facilities, etc. b) Special requests made apart from those services normally provided for in the tour itinerary as printed. c) Gratuities to the guide and driver. Any expression of appreciation should be made voluntarily. 16. INSURANCE Every person participating in any tour or holiday organised by the Company shall be regarded in every respect as carrying his own risk with respect to loss or injury to person or property. The Company does not accept responsibility for losses or expenses due to delay, sickness, weather, strikes,war, quarantine or other traveller.The Company reserves the right to alter routes, timetable, and itineraries and accommodation reserved if this is necessary or in the case of force majeure.Although all vehicles owned by the Company are full insured, tour members are requested to take out insurance for cancellations, health, accidents and baggage for peace of mind during and before the commencement of the tour. 15. LIABILITY The Company acts as agents for travel agents, airlines, hotels, restaurants, transport carriers and all other contractors and as such, assumes no responsibility for liability in connection with their services rendered. Neither will it be responsible for any act,omission, error or any irregularity, delay, loss,damage, injury, theft, accident, change of schedules or government regulations, strikes, civil commotion etc. over which it has no control. The Company reserves the right, without penalty, to alter itineraries,with or without notice, if it finds it to be in the best interests of all concerned.If a tour has to be cancelled prior to the date of departure, due to circumstances beyond its control, the Company will refund all monies paid by the clients. 16. CONFIDENTIALITY All information contained herein is private and confidential and is not to be disclosed to any third parties under any circumstances. |
