SEPILOK ORANG UTAN SANCTUARY(Daytrip)

Transfer to airport for your flight to Sandakan and a rewarding experience at the 43sq km Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary and Virgin Jungle Reserve. Here, 24km from Sandakan, young orphaned or captive apes are rehabilatated for life in the wild. Tour covers a local fishing village built on stilts over water. Visit Puu Jih Shih temple, the largest Chinese Buddhist temple in Sabah, dramatically sited on a steep hilltop overlooking Sandakan Bay and the town centre. Return flight to Kota Kinabalu(KK) in the evening.(Lunch)

SUKAU, SELINGAN & SEPILOK(3 Days 2 Nights)

Day 01- Depart from Kota Kinabalu(KK) for Sandakan by air. Upon arrival transfer to jetty for boatride across to Selingan Island and check into chalets. After dinner, wait for Green and/or Hawksbill Turtles coming ashores to lay eggs, and witness the release of young turtles to the sea.(Lunch & Dinner)

Day 02- Return to mainland and overland or by boat to Sukau. In the afternoon,a river cruise in search of the proboscis monkeys and other wildlife. Overnight at a riverside Jungle Lodge.(Fullboard)

Day 03- After breakfast, return to Sandakan to visit Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary.(BIM-W1)(Breakfast & Lunch)

GARAMA RIVER SAFARI(Daytrip)

Depart from Kota Kinabalu on an overland 2 hours drive via coastal highway Kota Kinabalu/Beaufort, towards Southwest part of Sabah. You will be taken to AL-JP Riverside Cafe along the Garama River. It's a fully equipped, clean and hygenic cafe, manned by well trained personnel. It has all the amenities to make your transit very confortable.

An afternoon tea with snacks makes your rest very welcoming. Once you have quite stretched your limbs, you are now ready for an exciting adventure through the wetlands along the Garama River.

Hop into our bout cruise in comfort, through the tranquility and serenity of mangroves, nipah palms, scrubs and secondary vegetation. Enjoy the serene setting and nature's river trail, while the Proboscis Monkeys take a good and straring look at you, quite unalarmed by your presence. You may just be able to catch the ultimate in close up photos of such animal found on in Borneo. Other wildlife like Macaque Monkeys, the rare silver Langur, birds, repltiles, flying foxes and water buffaloes would greet you occasionally, leaving you with a glimpse of nature in its undisturbed form.

The cruise will take a pleasant 1 1/2 hours approximately. While returning (weather permitting), watch the sunset as the daylight fades into dusk and thrill yourself to the spectacular experience of hundreds of fireflies lighting up the trees.

Upon your return to AL-JO Riverside Cafe, unwind before you are served with  sumptous traditional Malaysian dinner before returning to Kota Kinabalu.
